Christmas shopping. A skull jumper.

I need to get better at this blogging thing. No idea how I used to maintain my old blog so well - posting several times a week for years!
Well, here goes nothing.

I started a new job, which is good - also exhausting, but good nontheless. I was really lucky to seamlessly jump into something new after my internship and I cannot complain so far really - everyone is really nice and the work is fun mostly. Days are long though and as it is autumn it can get depressing to go to work in the dark and come back in the dark too.

This weekend I went for an anniversary dinner with my boyfriend, which was lovely, but in the end I just have to admit I don't enjoy going out half as much as I wish I did. Sometimes I do, but mostly I just wish I was at home; I don't even know why, I am just easily satisfied and don't need to go out for the sake of it.

I also got a lot of Christmas shopping done already (this is late for me, I usually start the day after Halloween!) and as usual Oxford Street is a suicide zone, but for some reason every Christmas I got to do it and walk through the masses (mostly uncoordinated tourists) and look at all the Christmas decorations and displays. And every year, I spend way too much time and money on my wrapping. I shall post some photos of how my presents looked last year soon. The year before I sadly didn't really take any photos. But this year I think may be the best one yet!
I don't know why but my presents always need to look perfect. Waste of resources you say? They'll just get ripped apart anyway?
Maybe.
But, to me, the wrapping is part of the present. And it really makes a difference. I also just enjoy it, it's like my little crafty-DIY thing I do once a year as I am otherwise absolutely useless with anything crafts.

I hope I'll get better at blogging again and I am trying to get back to making some videos too. It is just awkward as I live with flatmates, haha.
